It’s Jerry the Musical Monkey from the pattern by Rebecca Danger. She’s got all kinds of cool patterns for monsters and animals. The cute factor is off the hook, and the patterns are beautifully written and pretty easy, with the exception of the part where you have to do all the making up. I hate the making up part of pretty much anything, though, so I went into this project at a disadvantage. It was too awesome to not knit, though:
And the sewing part really wasn’t that horrible. I love him. He was a gift for my ten year old; I’m not sure if she shares my feelings for him. Monkeys can be creepy, and she’s getting to the age where electronics win out over lovies, but I’m hoping she’ll keep him safe until she’s an adult. She’ll adore him when she goes off the college, I’m sure.
